The only publication of its kind, IsraGuide was created in 2006 to provide Orthodox Jewish tourists to Israel with a closer glimpse of the country, its activities, and its people. The current issue, 2007-2008 has been redesigned to make the book more attractive and easier to read, while packing in increased content for travelers.

IsraGuide, the Israeli Tourist Guide for the Jewish Religious Community, was created to enhance the visit of the religious tourist. No matter if you are a regular visitor or this is your first time, you'll find that you can't travel around Israel without it. In fact, many Israeli residents purchase the book for an up-close look at Israel.

We offer information about tourist activities which are appropriate for you, as well as religious services and kosher restaurants. We have tried to bring you the most accurate, up-to-date information possible, and we will update the printed guide on this website.

If you find information which is out of date, please let us know by emailing info@israguide.com or send the correct information to Israel Guide Ltd., 18b Hamem Gimmel Street, Jerusalem. That way we can help other visitors to get the most of their trip around Israel.

How to use the book
If you are planning to spend time in the North, South or Central Regions of Israel, this book is arranged in geographical sections to help you make the most of your time. Within each section, the information is divided into the following categories:
- Accommodations
- Restaurants
- Attractions
- Religious Services
- Transportation
To help you move through the book easily, the geographical regions are color-coded. Within each region, the categories are separated by different shades of that region’s color. To assist you, tables throughout the book offer cross-references to ads or full descriptions of the sites.
